The ASD 52 from Interlab is the new Automatic Sampler and Diluter designed to work with Microgel. The instrument pipettes the sample from the primary tube, onto the Microgel sample carrier. It has never been so simple and fast!
The ASD 52 contains a 52 sample universal tube rack (8-16mm diameter).

Thanks to the built-in bar code reader, all sample data will be transferred directly to the main Microgel software "Elfolab".
Each sample is pipetted within 15 seconds.
The ASD 52, together with Microgel, is the most innovative solution to automate the entire process of electrophoresis on Agarose Gel. The ASD 52 is capable of dispensing up to 52 samples from primary tubes on to the Microgel sample carrier.

ASD 52 is not just a simple automated sampler, but is also a precise and accurate sample diluter. The instrument allows the operator to use a standard program or to customise up to 6 different dilutions per Immunofixation specimen. Up to 8 different samples for Immunofixation can be prepared at one time. The user friendly, multi-language software facilitates the quick and easy programming of both the sample dilution or dispense functions.

The diameter of the primary sample tube is flexible, and can range between 8-16mm.
The built in bar code reader recognises all common bar code labels. Once pipetting is complete, the patient data will be transferred from the ASD 52 on to Microgel.





The ASD 52 operates using a fixed coated pipette tip, which is washed after the dispense of every sample, and at the beginning and end of every work session. This continuous wash of the pipette tip guarantees no contamination and/or carry over. The accuracy and high precision of the level sensor allows the technician a dead volume of 200 µl in the primary test tube.

In case of an insufficient sample volume, the system will immediately alert the operator via a warning message, and without interruption, move on to process the next sample. Corrective actions may be taken after the run is complete.
The ASD 52 is a bench top instrument with dimensions (cm) of L53 x W59 x D58 and a weight of 23Kg.
